Article numbers rarely match between a supplier catalog and a vendor platform. This integration owns that translation so the vendor only ever sees its own identifiers.

Lookup behaviour

Queries are normalised, deduplicated and cached within the supplier's permitted window. Unknown article numbers return a structured miss rather than an error.

Yes, but supplier agreements usually cap cache lifetime. We expose the allowed TTL in every response header.
